Kentucky High School Basketball - Graves County thwarts Carlisle County

February 17, 2025: Mayfield, KY 42066

The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Graves County Eagles (Mayfield, KY) and the visiting Carlisle County Comets (Bardwell, KY), observed Graves County's basketball team knock off Carlisle County by a score of 64-48.

The Eagles (16-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Fulton City (Fulton, KY). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 2-18 record.

In their next game, the Comets encounter the Murray Tigers (Murray, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 20. Carlisle County will attempt to improve on its 12-15 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 8-18 record after their 79-70 non-league loss to Lyon County (Eddyville, KY).
