The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Wapsie Valley Warriors (Fairbank, IA) and the visiting Central Warriors (Elkader, IA), observed Wapsie Valley's basketball team overcome Central by a margin of 62-50.
The Warriors (9-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Marquette (Bellevue, IA). The Defenders come into the non-league challenge with a 21-1 record. In their last challenge, Marquette defeated East Buchanan (Winthrop, IA), 85-43, in a league challenge.
