In Monday's non-league contest, the host NC GBB Academy Eagles basketball team scored a big 68-44 triumph over the Commission Leadership Academy Griffins.

The Eagles (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against Carter G. Woodson (Winston-Salem, NC). The Eagle go into the non-league contest with a 5-15 record. In their last contest, Carter G. Woodson smashed Iron Academy (Raleigh, NC), 56-50, in a non-league contest.
