The Creede Miners (Creede, CO) basketball toppled the visiting Cripple Creek-Victor Pioneers (Cripple Creek, CO), 44-28 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Miners now possess a 6-11 record. They play next when they travel to Centennial for a 1A Southern Peaks bout on Tuesday, February 18. Creede will play a Rams team coming off a 65-40 league win over Lake City Community (Lake City, CO). The Rams record now stands at 7-10.
With the loss, Cripple Creek-Victor falls to 4-13 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Fountain Valley (Colorado Springs, CO) to play the Danes in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 20. The Danes go into the bout with a record of 8-5. Fountain Valley won 83-50 in their recent non-league bout against Miami-Yoder (Rush, CO)
