The Illini Bluffs Tigers (Glasford, IL) basketball were winner over the visiting Illini Central Cougars (Mason City, IL), 72-54 in Monday's league bout.

The Tigers now possess a 22-7 record. They play next when they travel to Mt. Pulaski for a Tomahawk bout on Friday, February 21. Illini Bluffs will play a Hilltoppers team coming off a 58-47 non-league win over Cerro Gordo/Bement (Cerro Gordo, IL). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 14-14.

With the loss, Illini Central falls to 14-14 on the campaign. The Cougars host Pleasant Plains (Pleasant Plains, IL) to play the Cardinals in a Sangamo bout on Tuesday, February 18. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 18-10. Pleasant Plains won 49-46 in their recent non-league bout against El Paso-Gridley (El Paso, IL)
