Michigan High School Basketball - River Valley holds off Lawrence

In Monday's non-league contest, the host River Valley Mustangs basketball team scored a close 47-44 triumph over the Lawrence Tigers.
The Mustangs (10-9) will now prepare for their contest against Covert (Covert, MI). The Bulldogs go into the Berrien-Cass-St. Joseph - White contest with a 0-12 record.
In their next game, the Tigers meet the Cassopolis Rangers (Cassopolis, MI) in a Southwest 10 battle, on Tuesday, February 18. Lawrence will attempt to advance on its 4-17 season record. The Rangers enter the battle with a 11-7 record after their 56-42 league loss to Hartford (Hartford, MI).
