St. John's Prep Eagles (Danvers, MA) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Wachusett Regional Mountaineers (Holden, MA), 46-45 in a non-league match.
With the victory, St. John's Prep upgrades its record to 2-16 on the year.
The Mountaineers now sport a 7-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Andover for a non-league match on Wednesday, February 19. Wachusett Regional will face a Golden Warriors squad coming off a 58-49 non-league win over Cambridge Rindge & Latin (Cambridge, MA). The Golden Warriors record now stands at 13-7.
