The Waterloo West Wahawks (Waterloo, IA) basketball toppled the visiting Wahlert Golden Eagles (Dubuque, IA), 60-44 in Monday's league bout.
The Wahawks now possess a 14-7 record. They play next when they host Western Dubuque for a Mississippi Valley bout on Tuesday, February 18. Waterloo West will play a Bobcats team coming off a 68-60 non-league win over Marion (Marion, IA). The Bobcats record now stands at 6-12.
With the loss, Wahlert falls to 8-9 on the campaign. The Golden eagles travel to Liberty (North Liberty, IA) to play the Lightning in a Mississippi Valley bout on Thursday, February 20. The Lightning go into the bout with a record of 2-19. Liberty lost 73-59 in their recent league bout against Washington (Cedar Rapids, IA)
