The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Aquinas Institute Little Irish (Rochester, NY) and the host Our Lady of Mercy Monarchs (Rochester, NY), observed Aquinas Institute's basketball team knock off Our Lady of Mercy by a score of 72-58.
The Little Irish (17-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Bishop Kearney (Rochester, NY). The Kings come into the Section 5 Private Parochial challenge with a 15-5 record. In their last challenge, Bishop Kearney prevailed over Victor (Victor, NY), 52-39, in a non-league challenge.
