The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Ballard Bruins (Louisville, KY) and the host Mercy Jaguars (Louisville, KY), observed Ballard's basketball team edge Mercy by a score of 60-55.
The Bruins (12-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Spencer County (Taylorsville, KY). The Bears come into the non-league challenge with a 18-7 record. In their last challenge, Spencer County was tipped by Elizabethtown (Elizabethtown, KY), 56-31, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Jaguars encounter the Jeffersontown Chargers (Louisville, KY) in a District 24 challenge, on Tuesday, February 18. Mercy will attempt to improve on its 13-14 season record.
