The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Elida Tigers (Elida, NM) and the visiting Cimarron Rams (Cimarron, NM), observed Elida's basketball team knock off Cimarron by a score of 41-26.

The Tigers (14-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Gateway Christian (Roswell, NM). The Warriors come into the A District 4 challenge with a 11-8 record. In their last challenge, Gateway Christian was knocked off by Melrose (Melrose, NM), 46-25, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Rams encounter the Roy/Mosquero Blue/Lady Blue (Roy, NM) in a A District 5 challenge, on Thursday, February 20. Cimarron will attempt to improve on its 10-12 season record. The Blue/Lady Blue come into the challenge with a 23-0 record after their 70-12 league win over New Mexico School for the Deaf (Santa Fe, NM).
