The Deuel Cardinals basketball team scored 39 points and limited the visiting Redfield Pheasants to 31 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Monday.

The Cardinals now possess a 4-15 record. They play next when they host Sisseton for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 18. Deuel will confront a Redmen team coming off a 59-22 non-league win over Tiospa Zina (Agency Village, SD). The Redmen record now stands at 11-7.

With the loss, Redfield falls to 2-18 on the campaign. The Pheasants travel to Northwestern Area (Mellette, SD) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 18. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 13-5. Northwestern Area lost 58-44 in their recent non-league game against North Central (Eureka, SD)
