In Monday's non-league contest, the host Osage City Indians basketball team scored a close 48-43 triumph over the Holton Wildcats.
The Indians (18-1) will now prepare for their contest against Lebo (Lebo, KS). The Wolves go into the non-league contest with a 15-3 record. In their last contest, Lebo nipped Mission Valley (Eskridge, KS), 56-31, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Sabetha Bluejays (Sabetha, KS) in a Big East contest, on Friday, February 21. Holton will attempt to better on its 9-9 season record. The Bluejays go into the contest with a 3-15 record after their 54-32 non-league loss to Hiawatha (Hiawatha, KS).
