The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Marais des Cygnes Valley Trojans (Melvern, KS) and the host West Franklin Falcons (Pomona, KS), observed Marais des Cygnes Valley's basketball team overwhelm West Franklin by a score of 64-31.
The Trojans (13-6) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Paul (St. Paul, KS). The Indians come into the non-league challenge with a 11-5 record. In their last challenge, St. Paul trounced Yates Center (Yates Center, KS), 46-6, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Falcons encounter the Burlingame Bearcats (Burlingame, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 21. West Franklin will attempt to improve on its 6-13 season record.
