In Monday's non-league test, the St. Catherine of Siena Academy Athletes (Wixom, MI) basketball squad trounced the host Walled Lake Central Vikings (Walled Lake, MI), by a final score of 66-41.
Next, the Athletes clash with the Lutheran North Mustangs (Macomb, MI) in a Catholic C-D D match, on Tuesday, February 18. St. Catherine of Siena Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 17-3 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 8-7 record after their 46-28 non-league win over University Liggett (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI).
The Vikings now sport a 1-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Milford for a Lakes Valley match on Friday, February 21. Walled Lake Central will face a Mavericks squad coming off a 36-34 non-league loss to Durand (Durand, MI). The Mavericks record now stands at 10-7.
