The Appomattox County Raiders basketball team scored 38 points and limited the host Nelson County Governors to 5 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Monday.

The Raiders now have a 14-2 record. They play next when they travel to Dan River for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 18. Appomattox County will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 33-22 non-league win over Chatham (Chatham, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-8.

With the loss, Nelson County falls to 1-12 on the campaign. The Governors travel to Gretna (Gretna, VA) to confront the Hawks in a non-league game on Wednesday, February 19. The Hawks go into the game with a record of 4-11. Gretna won 26-23 in their recent non-league game against Chatham (Chatham, VA)
