The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Amity Regional Spartans (Woodbridge, CT) and the host Masuk Panthers (Monroe, CT), witnessed Amity Regional's ice hockey team defeat Masuk by a final score of 7-1.
The Spartans (10-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Notre Dame Prep (Fairfield, CT). The Lancers come into the non-league challenge with a 7-10 record. In their last challenge, Notre Dame Prep got by Xavier (Middletown, CT), 4-3, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Norwalk/McMahon Bears (Norwalk, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 19. Masuk will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record.
