The Newport Central Catholic Thoroughbreds basketball team scored 62 points and limited the host Campbell County Camels to 51 in the Thoroughbreds non-league triumph on Monday.

The Thoroughbreds now possess a 15-0 record. They play next when they travel to Dayton for a non-league game on Wednesday, February 19. Newport Central Catholic will play a Greendevils team coming off a 31-26 non-league loss to Boone County (Florence, KY). The Greendevils record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Campbell County falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Camels travel to St. Henry (Erlanger, KY) to play the Crusaders in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 18. The Crusaders go into the game with a record of 2-2.
