Mississippi High School Baseball - East Central loses to George County

February 17, 2026: Lucedale, MS 39452

George County Rebels (Lucedale, MS) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting East Central Hornets (Moss Point, MS), 8-4 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, George County moves its record to 1-3 on the season. The Rebels travel to Stone (Wiggins, MS) to confront the Tomcats in a non-league match on Friday, February 20. The Tomcats come into the match with a record of 3-1. Stone won 6-1 in their recent non-league match against St. Patrick (Biloxi, MS)

The Hornets now possess a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gulfport for a non-league match on Friday, February 20. East Central will confront a Admirals squad coming off a 13-2 non-league win over Bay (Bay St. Louis, MS). The Admirals record now stands at 3-2.
