Texas High School Baseball - Heights edges Spring

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Heights Bulldogs (Houston, TX) and the host Spring Lions (Spring, TX), saw Heights's baseball team gain a win over Spring by a tally of 5-2.

The Bulldogs (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Splendora (Splendora, TX). The Wildcats enter the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Splendora held off Coldspring-Oakhurst (Coldspring, TX), 11-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Lions face the Freeman Golden Eagles (Katy, TX) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, February 19. Spring will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the battle with a 0-1 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to Katy Taylor (Katy, TX).
