The Sabinal Yellowjackets softball team scored 17 runs and held the host Knippa Crushers to 16 in the Yellowjackets league win on Tuesday.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cole for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 17. Sabinal will confront a Cougars team coming off a 20-2 non-league loss to Mathis (Mathis, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 1-6.

With the loss, Knippa moves to 0-3 on the season. The Crushers travel to Hondo (Hondo, TX) to meet the Owls in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 19. The Owls go into the challenge with a record of 2-3. Hondo won 14-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Bandera (Bandera, TX)
