The Middletown Blue Dragons basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the host Southington Blue Knights to 39 in the Blue Dragons non-league victory on Friday.
The Blue Dragons now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Haven for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 19. Middletown will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 44-40 non-league win over Law (Milford, CT). The Blue Devils record now stands at 12-6.
The Blue Knights (4-16) will now prepare for their contest against Northwest Catholic (West Hartford, CT). The Lions come into the Central Connecticut - West Colonial contest with a 18-1 record. In their last contest, Northwest Catholic prevailed over Notre Dame (West Haven, CT), 69-60, in a league contest.
