The North Valley Military Institute Hawks softball team scored 20 runs and limited the host Belmont Sentinels to 18 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, North Valley Military Institute improves its record to 1-2 on the year. The Hawks host Vaughn (San Fernando, CA) to clash with the White Tigers in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 1. The White Tigers come into the game with a record of 0-0.
In their next game, the Sentinels clash with the Hawkins Hawks (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league game, on Monday, February 28. Belmont will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
