Texas High School Softball - McAllen bounces Economedes

The McAllen Bulldogs routed the host Economedes Jaguars softball squad by a final score of 5-0 in Friday's league battle.

The Bulldogs (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Rowe (McAllen, TX). The Warriors go into the 5A Region IV District 31 battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Rowe nudged Palmview (La Joya, TX), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

The Jaguars now possess a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Edinburg for a 6A Region IV District 31 battle on Tuesday, February 22. Economedes will meet a Bobcats squad coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to La Feria (La Feria, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-2.
