The Fort Payne Wildcats routed the visiting Pennington Tigers softball squad by a final score of 9-3 in Friday's non-league battle.
The Wildcats (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Cleveland (Cleveland, AL). The Panthers go into the non-league battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Cleveland was routed by Guntersville (Guntersville, AL), 15-0, in a non-league battle.
