The Newton Rams baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Eastside Eagles to 3 in the Rams non-league victory on Saturday.
The Rams (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Midtown (Atlanta, GA). The Knights go into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Midtown was overwhelmed by Flowery Branch (Flowery Branch, GA), 10-0, in a non-league match.
The Eagles (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Alcovy (Covington, GA). The Tigers go into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Alcovy was overwhelmed by Apalachee (Winder, GA), 15-4, in a non-league match.
