In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Baldwyn Bearcats basketball team scored a good 70-57 triumph over the East Webster Wolverines.
In their next game, the Bearcats meet the Coahoma County Red Panthers (Clarksdale, MS) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, February 22. Baldwyn will attempt to better on its 23-3 season record. The Red Panthers enter the match with a 27-2 record after their 52-31 non-league win over Choctaw County (Ackerman, MS).
With the defeat, East Webster moves to 11-6 on the year.
