In their next game, the Eagles face the Hattiesburg Tigers (Hattiesburg, MS) in a non-league game, on Friday, February 24. Florence will attempt to move on its 8-9 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 21-7 record after their 72-42 non-league win over West Harrison (Gulfport, MS).
With the defeat, George County moves to 10-9 on the year.
