Marshwood Hawks (South Berwick, ME) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Fryeburg Raiders (Fryeburg, ME), 51-35 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Marshwood betters its record to 14-4 on the year. The Hawks travel to Gray-New Gloucester (Gray, ME) to meet the Patriots in a non-league match on Wednesday, February 22. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 16-3. Gray-New Gloucester won 55-51 in their recent non-league match against Kennebunk (Kennebunk, ME)
With the defeat, Fryeburg moves to 11-10 on the year.
