St. Bernard Saints (Uncasville, CT) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Immaculate Mustangs (Danbury, CT), 68-56 in a non-league bout.

With the win, St. Bernard upgrades its record to 16-3 on the season. The Saints host Windsor (Windsor, CT) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Monday, February 20. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 14-5. Windsor lost 99-77 in their recent non-league bout against Northwest Catholic (West Hartford, CT)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Brookfield Bobcats (Brookfield, CT) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 24. Immaculate will attempt to upgrade on its 12-8 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 16-4 record after their 63-49 league win over Stratford (Stratford, CT).
