Lyman Eagles (Lyman, WY) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Lovell Bulldogs (Lovell, WY), 53-49 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lyman upgrades its record to 13-6 on the campaign. The Eagles host Lander Valley (Lander, WY) to play the Tigers in a 3A Southwest bout on Tuesday, February 21. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 13-7. Lander Valley lost 62-43 in their recent non-league bout against Worland (Worland, WY)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Powell Panthers (Powell, WY) in a 3A Northwest bout, on Thursday, February 23. Lovell will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 12-6 record after their 44-41 non-league win over Mountain View (Mountain View, WY).
