The Sauk Centre Mainstreeters (Sauk Centre, MN) basketball nipped the visiting Maple River Eagles (Mapleton, MN), 67-61 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Mainstreeters (14-7) will now prepare for their test against Montevideo (Montevideo, MN). The Thunderhawks go into the non-league test with a 11-10 record. In their last test, Montevideo was tipped by Dawson-Boyd (Dawson, MN), 78-68, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 19-4 record. They play next when they travel to Waterville-Elysian-Morristown for a AA Section 2 test on Tuesday, February 21.
