The Simley Spartans basketball team (Inver Grove Heights, MN), was routed 78-56 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Minneapolis Southwest Lakers (Minneapolis, MN)
The Lakers now sport a 16-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Columbia Heights for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 2.
The Spartans (6-16) will now prepare for their battle against Mahtomedi (Mahtomedi, MN). The Zephyrs come into the non-league battle with a 19-3 record. In their last battle, Mahtomedi trounced River Falls (River Falls, WI), 67-60, in a non-league battle.
