The Simpson Academy Cougars (Mendenhall, MS) basketball knocked off the host Oak Forest Academy Yellowjackets (Amite, LA), 60-50 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cougars (25-7) will now prepare for their test against Jackson Academy (Jackson, MS). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 9-3 record. In their last test, Jackson Academy notched a victory over Hartfield Academy (Flowood, MS), 49-44, in a league test.
The Yellowjackets now own a 7-2 record.
