In Saturday's non-league outing, the Waverly/South Shore Coyotes (Waverly, SD) basketball squad edged the visiting Sully Buttes Chargers (Onida, SD), by a margin of 74-68.
The Coyotes (8-10) will now prepare for their outing against Langford (Langford, SD). The Lions go into the B Region 1 outing with a 4-15 record. In their last outing, Langford was tipped by Estelline/Hendricks (Estelline, SD), 84-47, in a non-league outing.
The Chargers now own a 5-14 record. They play next when they host North Central for a non-league outing on Friday, February 24. Sully Buttes will clash with a Thunder squad coming off a 53-46 non-league loss to Sunshine Bible Academy (Miller, SD). The Thunder record now stands at 1-18.
