Michigan High School Basketball - Standish-Sterling tops Alma

Standish-Sterling Panthers (Standish, MI) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Alma Panthers (Alma, MI), 62-43 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Standish-Sterling upgrades its record to 15-3 on the campaign. The Panthers host Ogemaw Heights (West Branch, MI) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 21. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 2-17.
Next up, the Panthers play the Swan Valley Vikings (Saginaw, MI) in a Tri-Valley - East bout, on Tuesday, February 21. Alma will attempt to upgrade on its 12-8 season record. The Vikings come into the bout with a 15-5 record after their 48-32 league win over Birch Run (Birch Run, MI).
