The Maple Grove Crimson basketball team (Maple Grove, MN), was nudged 77-72 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Eden Prairie Eagles (Eden Prairie, MN)
The Eagles now sport a 16-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Edina for a AAAA Section 2 battle on Friday, February 24. Eden Prairie will battle a Hornets team coming off a 66-54 league win over Buffalo (Buffalo, MN). The Hornets record now stands at 7-18.
The Crimson (20-5) will now prepare for their battle against Anoka (Anoka, MN). The Tornadoes come into the non-league battle with a 14-9 record. In their last battle, Anoka was nudged by Rogers (Rogers, MN), 68-65, in a non-league battle.
