The Southwest EC Eagles (El Centro, CA) basketball felled the host Kearny Komets (San Diego, CA), 58-40 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Eagles (5-19) will now prepare for their test against Valhalla (El Cajon, CA). The Norsemen go into the non-league test with a 14-15 record. In their last test, Valhalla thwarted High Tech Mesa (San Diego, CA), 72-31, in a non-league test.
The Komets now own a 5-20 record.
