Medomak Valley Panthers (Waldoboro, ME) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Lake Region Lakers (Naples, ME), 41-31 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Medomak Valley upgrades its record to 13-6 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Oceanside (Rockland, ME) to play the Mariners in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 21. The Mariners come into the bout with a record of 19-0. Oceanside won 54-48 in their recent non-league bout against Yarmouth (Yarmouth, ME)
