The Hoover Buccaneers soccer team scored 2 points and limited the visiting LaGrange Grangers to 0 in the Buccaneers non-league victory on Saturday.
Next, the Buccaneers face the Tuscaloosa County Wildcats (Northport, AL) in a 7A Area 5 contest, on Tuesday, March 7. Hoover will attempt to better on its 3-0 season record.
The Grangers now have a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Smiths Station for a non-league contest on Monday, February 20. LaGrange will face a Panthers team coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Northside (Columbus, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 0-3.
