The Plano West Wolves the host Akins Eagles softball squad by a count of 8-6 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Wolves (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against Brock (Brock, TX). The Eagles go into the non-league battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Brock by Round Rock (Round Rock, TX), 5-4, in a non-league battle.

The Eagles now sport a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Travis for a 6A Region IV District 26 battle on Tuesday, February 21. Akins will meet a Cavaliers squad coming off a 8-4 non-league win over Brandeis (San Antonio, TX). The Cavaliers record now stands at 2-5.
