Texas High School Softball - Langham Creek gets by Americas

The Langham Creek Lobos (Houston, TX) softball nipped the visiting Americas Trail Blazers (El Paso, TX), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Lobos (4-3) will now prepare for their bout against Bridgeland (Cypress, TX). The Bears go into the 6A Region II District 16 bout with a 3-0 record. In their last bout, Bridgeland held off Americas (El Paso, TX), 10-3, in a non-league bout.

The Trail Blazers now possess a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Montwood for a 6A Region I District 1 bout on Tuesday, February 21. Americas will confront a Rams squad coming off a 15-2 non-league loss to Lovejoy (Lucas, TX). The Rams record now stands at 1-4.
