In Saturday's non-league contest, the Pearl River Central Blue Devils (Carriere, MS) softball team overwhelmed the host Columbia Wildcats (Columbia, MS), by a margin of 18-5.
With the triumph, Pearl River Central moves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to Vancleave (Vancleave, MS) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Thursday, February 23.
