Turner Lions (Carrollton, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Naaman Forest Rangers (Garland, TX), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Lions now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Diamond Hill-Jarvis for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 24. Turner will face a Eagles squad coming off a 13-4 non-league win over North Dallas (Dallas, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, Naaman Forest falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Rowlett (Rowlett, TX) to face the Eagles in a 6A Region II District 9 challenge on Tuesday, February 21. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 4-3. Rowlett lost 10-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Wilson (Dallas, TX)
