Oak Grove Warriors (Hattiesburg, MS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host South Jones Braves (Ellisville, MS), 9-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Raleigh for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 18. Oak Grove will battle a Lions squad coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Taylorsville (Taylorsville, MS). The Lions record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, South Jones falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Braves travel to West Harrison (Gulfport, MS) to battle the Hurricanes in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 25. The Hurricanes enter the challenge with a record of 1-3. West Harrison lost 8-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Satsuma (Satsuma, AL)
