Wilson Wildcats (Dallas, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Rowlett Eagles (Rowlett, TX), 10-8 in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Kimball for a 5A Region II District 11 challenge on Tuesday, February 21.

With the loss, Rowlett falls to 4-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Naaman Forest (Garland, TX) to face the Rangers in a 6A Region II District 9 challenge on Tuesday, February 21. The Rangers enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Naaman Forest won 8-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Berkner (Richardson, TX)
