The Victoria East Titans softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Westlake Chaparrals to 10 in the Titans non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Victoria East improves its record to 1-2 on the year. The Titans host Carroll (Corpus Christi, TX) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 21. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 2-6. Carroll won 21-2 in their recent non-league game against Lockhart (Lockhart, TX)

In their next game, the Chaparrals clash with the Pieper Warriors (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league game, on Saturday, February 18. Westlake will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Warriors come into the game with a 2-3 record after their 9-6 non-league loss to Del Valle (Del Valle, TX).
