In Tuesday's non-league bout, the Nettleton Tigers (Nettleton, MS) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Smithville Seminoles (Smithville, MS), by a tally of 10-4.
Next up, the Tigers encounter the West Point Green Wave (West Point, MS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 21. Nettleton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Green Wave enter the bout with a 4-2 record after their 15-5 non-league win over Louisville (Louisville, MS).
The Seminoles (0-7) will now prepare for their bout against Hatley (Amory, MS). The Tigers enter the non-league bout with a 4-0 record. In their last bout, Hatley edged Biggersville (Corinth, MS), 18-1, in a non-league bout.
