The Puckett Wolves baseball team scored 21 runs and held the visiting Newton Tigers to 0 in the Wolves non-league win on Tuesday.
The Wolves now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host North Forrest for a non-league test on Friday, February 21. Puckett will play a Eagles team coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Magee (Magee, MS). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, Newton drops to 0-1 on the year. The Tigers host Sebastopol (Sebastopol, MS) to play the Bobcats in a non-league test on Thursday, February 20. The Bobcats go into the test with a record of 2-0. Sebastopol won 13-12 in their recent non-league test against Scott Central (Forest, MS)
