The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Amherst Central Tigers (Amherst, NY) and the visiting Lancaster Legends (Lancaster, NY), observed Amherst Central's basketball team knock off Lancaster by a score of 74-57.
The Tigers (12-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Lockport (Lockport, NY). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 6-5 record. In their last challenge, Lockport prevailed over Lewiston-Porter (Youngstown, NY), 75-53, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Legends encounter the Niagara Falls Wolverines (Niagara Falls, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 26. Lancaster will attempt to improve on its 1-15 season record.
